July was the seventh month of 2023, and the third month in which Chris had been sighted in public since his arrest in August 2021.
This month marks the last time (to date) that Chris was spotted in the Richmond area and the first time he was spotted in Lynchburg, possibly his new home.

- 1 July - Old footage from Chris Chan VS. The Internet is leaked on Reddit.[1]
- 3 July - Chris is sighted shopping at Walmart in Chesterfield County. What's notable in this sighting is that Chris's hair was dyed again, this time a darker blue.[2]
- 20 July - Chris is sighted at Dragon Fire Games, a tabletop gaming store in Lynchburg, VA.[3]
- 21 July - Chris joins Catboy Ranch on his alt Discord account.[4]
- 23–25 July - The r/Place Reddit event relaunched again on July 20th, during this event Reddit users again coordinated to design pixel art of Sonichu. After it was covered up by The Scream, they designed another pixel art of Sonichu at a different location.[5]
