January 2011 opens in the shadow of Chris's resignation from the Internet on 22 November 2010. The month was more uneventful than the previous, and Chris presumably spent the entirerity of the month playing on his PS3.

- 11 January - DC Universe Online is released. Chris buys it later and spends the next couple of days playing the game.
- 18 January - Chris blows eighty dollars on LittleBigPlanet 2.
