July 2012. For many, it heralds the coming of Independence Day, fireworks and freedom. For Chris, it might have heralded the day his freedom is taken away, as the fallout from 28 October 2011 came to a head, with his indictment taking place on the 10th. If he was unlucky, it might have been the beginning of the Jailbird Saga for him, and even if he managed to escape this fate, there was still the matter of his mother's possible conviction, which could have put him in very dire circumstances, along with Snyder's civil suit. Instead, he was sentenced to community service and psychiatric evaluation, with the threat of jail hanging over his head if he misbehaves again.
