September 2026.
Notable events
- 4 September - Chris's half-brother David Alan Chandler passes away after a brief illness aged 64.
- 5 September
- Chris publishes A Tribute to Peter Cullen from JCWCSP.
- Chris answers someone on Bluesky why there's been a "sudden lull in posting": "I've been busy."[1]
- 6 September - Philip Paymo creates a Bluesky account. Chris responds to the account and follows it.[2]
- 7 September - Chris publishes JCWCSP Cameo Q&A, a compilation of Cameo clips compiled and edited by Philip Paymo.
- 8 September - Philip Paymo, in DMs with a Geno Samuel impersonator, admits to being behind the "CwcvilleGuardian2009" YouTube channel from 2024, but denies creating the AI "Auli call".[3] Upon the DMs being leaked on Bluesky, Paymo defended himself by lying about the nature of the channel, claiming he never intended to impersonate anyone.
- 10 September - Chris posts two swearing emojis on X in response to the canon CPU Blue Heart AKA Ciel.[4][5]
- 11 September - On Bluesky, Philip Paymo plays the victim card and announces a hiatus.[6] Chris didn't acknowledge it, and he wasn't tagged in Paymo's posts.
- 13 September - The CWCki learns about the death of David Alan Chandler, with Chris hearing about his death shortly after. He writes an entry for Alan's obituary guestbook and posts a message on Bluesky.[7]
- 14 September - After sitting on the footage for nine months, Chris publishes TLUM Movie Watch Along With Some Commentary (Bunch of Epic Fails; Whatever). Chris promises to make a more proper commentary video for the TLUM movie in the future.[8]
- 17 September
- Caden Peck turns 24.
- Chris publishes JCWCSP's Go Transformers Music Video, Transformers Zap Prime Theme Song (No AI Music) and its subtitled version. The music was created by Philip Paymo, who Chris continued to credit despite recently being outed as a ween.
- 18 September - Drunken Peasants tags Chris on Bluesky to ask for his thoughts on one of their thumbnails from their Chris Chan: A Comprehensive History reaction series.[9] Chris replies with "Interesting".
- 20 September - Chris watches the 40th-anniversary re-release of The Transformers: The Movie in theaters,[10] possibly at Regal River Ridge in Lynchburg, Virginia (which was the only place showing it in Lynchburg, though there were also showings in Charlottesville and Roanoke on that day). Chris posts on social media that he enjoyed it.
- 23 September - Chris posts a reminder that he still desires someone to make custom poseable Sonichu and Rosechu figures for him, resharing his video from July.[11]
- 29 September - Chris, after being asked about it on Bluesky, acknowledges an obviously fake Chris account on TikTok which two days prior had posted an AI-generated deepfake of Chris lip syncing to "They Call Me Sonic" which amassed nearly 100k likes.[12] He confirms that he only has one TikTok account and he is under the impression that it had already been removed, which would become true in just a few days.
