September 2011 had begun with Chris basking in triumph after unmasking Jack Thaddeus, Alec Benson Leary and Thorg, and forcing Surfshack Tito to leave the Internet. BlueSpike's fate is to be determined, and it is not known if Chris has dox on other trolls too. The state of Virginia had recovered from an earthquake and major hurricane, yet somehow,Chris remained safe.
September brought the passing of Chris's father.

- 6 September - Bob Chandler dies of heart failure, two days after his 84th birthday.
- 10 September - The CWCki is cut down for a week in mourning of Bob's death.
- 12 September - Bob's funeral is held at Monticello Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville at 10 a.m.
- 15 September - The deadline for David "BlueSpike" to upload an apology video. This deadline passed without a new video from BlueSpike or Chris, presumably because Chris is still in mourning.
