2026 is the current year. Chris's relationship with Flutter is currently left ambiguous with Flutter being noticeably absent in Chris sightings this year along with Chris not making any trips to Finland this year. Time will tell where this will lead.
January

Chris finally posts to the video sharing platform TikTok, despite previously saying he wouldn't.[1] Chris posted more of the usual Transformers videos, including the grand premiere of the highly anticipated "masterpiece" film Transformers Legacy United Merged Full Compilation Movie. It tragically proceeded to underperform at the box office, even after Chris's efforts to promote the film, which consisted of asking YouTubers to watch it and handing out promotional cards to unsuspecting local strangers. Seemingly desiring more money, Chris joined Ko-fi, a platform similar to Patreon, except now he isn't expected to give anything in return. He also joined Cameo, a platform where customers pay celebrities for personalized video messages, which he offered sporadically for the following weeks. Chris then briefly snuck off to Texas in an attempt to return to conventions, appearing as the White Power Ranger at HarmonyCon for a few hours before being caught and expelled while yelling about "White Light Power!" This, along with the release of Mewgenics, caused Chris to trend on Twitter. This led to Chris recreating his useless video denying having sex with Barb, naively believing it to be enough effort on his part to make everyone believe him. Chris turned 44, and in a seemingly bizarre attempt to cope with his mortality, declared himself to be 24 years old forever in a celebration video.
March

Chris makes his second Captain's Log video of the year, in which he rants and rambles for 30 minutes. The next day, Hyperdimension Neptunia announced a new game which will introduce a new official CPU Blue Heart character, superseding Chris's OC Scarlet LaRose. Chris quickly began to complain and spam about it, demanding they recognize his lore and rename their character to Cyan Heart. He didn't stop there, soon pretending to be possessed by Scarlet on camera in order to whine about it more. On 21 March, Chris suddenly attempted to address r/ChrisChanSonichu in a call-out post to the subreddit, but ended up getting his main and alt account swiftly banned from Reddit's automatic moderation. Near the end of the month, Chris recorded his longest livestream to date, playing Mewgenics for 4 hours.

Chris starts off the month posting a confession video for April Fool's day. Continuing his Blue Heart campaign, Chris pretends to be possessed by Scarlet LaRose and Jesus Christ in a video. Chris went out to vote yes for a redistricting amendment to combat Trump, which ended up passing before ultimately being struck down by the Supreme Court of Virginia. ProjectSNT makes the unfortunate mistake of indirectly mentioning Chris off-handedly in a video, which makes Chris feel the need to make a response post and full reaction video unprompted. At the end of the month, Chris stops making videos for Cameo, and announces a three month break until August a few days later.
