- Summer - The Chandler family moves out of the Surrywood Subdivision, and starts living in the Newberry Towne Subdivision. According to Chris, some of the neigbors spreaded rumors about his family. [14]
- August/September - Christian begins his freshman year at Manchester High School.[15]
- Autumn - Chris becomes the waterboy at the Varsity Basketball Team team.
