- January 2 - Sonichu Home Club meeting on PlayStation Online.
- January 5 - Second part of Sonichu #8 is published.
- January 6 - Chris announces Sonichu and Rosechu will be in Animal Crossing.
- January 8 - Sonichu.net hacked for the first time by Gregg Mays.
- January 8 - Chris publishes video, in which he threatens Mr. Mays with his "lawyer-man from Nintendo, Jay-Z". He also shows his fangs.
- January 12 - Chris publishes video in which he announces that he is straight, and that Sonichu.net is up again.
- January 15 - Chris publishes video denouncing the ED page.
